Fiona Clarke -Director

Brenda’s healthcare journey began with the completion of her nursing degree in South Africa, where she quickly discovered a passion for orthopaedics after scrubbing for a hip replacement in 1994. This pivotal moment sparked a lifelong dedication to the specialty.

In 2001, Brenda migrated to Australia and spent a decade in Sydney working as an orthopaedic scrub nurse, applying her skills in a dynamic surgical environment. In 2011, she transitioned into the role of Clinical Nurse Consultant with a focus on orthopaedics. Brenda has continued to work in orthopaedics after relocating to Perth in 2013.

In 2019, she joined Calibre Medical Solutions, bringing clinical insight to medical technologies and surgical solutions. Brenda’s current focus includes specialist expertise in tumour surgery, complex custom cases and orthopaedic revisions. She also has experience in ACL reconstruction, osteotomy and primary joint arthroplasty.

With a background as both a theatre nurse educator and theatre manager in South Africa and Australia, Brenda brings a unique combination of clinical, educational and industry experience to support surgeons, healthcare teams, and patients in achieving optimal surgical outcomes.
